VISITING FRIEND - TOURIST

Welcome into our church.
We would like this church to remain open for all the people looking for a silent place to commune with themselves.

This church was erected in 1763 under the impulse of the ironmaster Jean De Dietrich, in a traditional 18th century style. Its front is made up with Vosgian sandstone. Until 1886, it was  used by the catholic as well as the protestant community.

The organ was made by Louis GEIB an inaugurated in 1807. Alfred Kern restored it in 1970. Since then, it is one of the finest organ in the region, with 10 stops for the great organ, 10 for the small organ and 8 for the pedal-board. The beautiful neo-classic organ-case was also conceived by Louis GEIB. Now the organ accompanies songs during worships and is even used successfully for concerts.
